OSU Student Alumni Board

OSU’s Student Alumni Board (SAB) is known as a premier campus leadership organization and serves as the governing body of the Student Alumni Association. SAB responsibilities include serving as OSU SAB ambassadors at alumni and campus events, speaking at high school scholar banquets on behalf of OSU, and planning the annual OSU Legacy Weekend. SAB members serve as liaisons between students and alumni, aid the president's office in hosting events and help preserve the rich traditions of OSU.

OSU Homecoming Steering Committee
Due:  February 10, 2017, 5:00 PM
There is no bigger Oklahoma State event to be involved in than Homecoming! This committee of 50-60 volunteer students is responsible for planning and supervising the activities associated with OSU’s Homecoming Celebration. Students are chosen based on their commitment and desire to work toward the betterment and continuation of this, the greatest OSU Tradition.

Niblack Research Scholars Program, 2017-18

The Niblack Research Scholars program provides support to OSU undergraduates to conduct research in one of OSU’s research laboratories. The purpose of this award, made possible by the generosity of Dr. John Niblack, is to give outstanding students an appreciation of scientific research in a laboratory environment at an early stage of their academic careers.

Wentz Research Grants, 2017-18
Due:  February 24, 2017, 5:00 PM
Each year, $4,500 one-year Wentz Research Grants are given to approximately forty undergraduates to conduct independent research with the guidance of a faculty mentor in any field of study (major). 

President’s Leadership Council – Facilitators, 2017-18
In selecting PLC facilitators, we will be looking for a cross section representation of the following aspects: living groups, academic colleges, and extra-curricular activities. We want new PLC'ers to have access to a wide array of information and experience.

2017 Women’s Faculty Council Student Research Awards
Due:  March 1, 2017, 5:00 pm
Current OSU undergraduate and graduate students in all fields are eligible (including 2017 graduates); research must have been conducted at OSU.

2017 Human Sciences Internship Scholarship Application
Due:  April 6, 2017, 5:00 pm
Current College of Human Sciences undergraduate students in all fields are eligible.

2017-18 Student Academic Mentor Application for the PETE Project
Due:  April 7, 2017, 5:00 pm
Applications for The PETE Project's Student Academic Mentors for the 2017-2018 academic year are now available. The PETE Project, which stands for Preparing, Empowering, Transforming and Engaging, is the living, learning community in the College of Human Sciences housed in Village Human Sciences resident hall. This community of freshman has two Student Academic Mentors (SAMs) that live on the floor with the group and help to provide encouragement and support; they are provided with a $4,000 scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Undergraduate Library Research Award
Due:  April 10, 2017
The OSU Undergraduate Library Research Award (ULRA) examines the product of research (i.e., a paper or project) and also emphasizes the importance of understanding and reflecting upon the process of developing a topic and research strategy in order to locate, evaluate and use the best information possible. Eligible undergraduates who have recently completed research for course credit or faculty-sponsored independent study are encouraged to apply.
