ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AND SERVICES EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Determined by the College of Human Sciences.

BACHER – MAURINE AND LEE BACHER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Sophomore, junior, or senior; selection based on financial need with grade point average as a secondary consideration.

BAIRD - DR. JOAN BAIRD SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Junior or senior in the College who has shown professional orientation and commitment to the College.

CACY - DR. LORA CACY SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Junior or senior with additional qualifications determined by the College of Human Sciences. 

CHANDLER - EMMA CHANDLER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Sophomore, junior or senior (should have completed at least one year of academic work at an institution of higher education in Oklahoma); female; high academic standing; need will be considered.

CLEMENTS - BUCK AND IRENE CLEMENTS SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate student(s); 2.50 minimum undergraduate GPA; financial need.

Qualifications:  Full-time undergraduate student in COHS. Must have completed FR year and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

ELLIS - NANCY PAYNE ELLIS SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Strong consideration given to a student exhibiting financial need; the student must also demonstrate leadership ability as well as school and community involvement; the student should demonstrate the ability to give back to the community.

Qualifications: Oklahoma resident; financial need is first consideration along with leadership, diligent work habits, and genuine interest in a college education. Members of Greek organizations are not eligible.

Qualifications: Minimum GPA of 3.0; primary consideration given to students exhibiting financial need, working part time with preference given to a student who is a single parent, or non-traditional/older student.

Qualifications: Sophomore, junior, or senior student; good academic standing; active in College of Human Sciences and University activities.

KNAUB – ROBERT AND PATRICIA KNAUB SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Qualifications: Determined by the College of Human Sciences. Award alternates between College of Human Sciences and the College of Education.

LAWRENCE - MARY G. LAWRENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Sophomore, junior or senior; female; financial need required; academic standing and active participation in College of Human Sciences and University student organizations will be considered.

Qualifications: Rural Oklahoma student; minimum GPA 3.0; need is a factor; consideration given to demonstrated leadership.

MILLER – DALE AND ELIZABETH MILLER
Qualifications:  Must be enrolled full-time in Human Sciences or CASNR (will rotate annually). Must have a minimum GPA of 3.75 and 27 ACT. Preference given to a student who has been an active leader in 4-H.

MOCK-SNELL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Non-traditional female student with financial need and of the Christian faith. Stillwater campus.

MORAN - JAN MORAN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipient is College of Human Sciences Outstanding Student. 

MORSANI – CAROL MORSANI ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time student in COHS with first preference for students with financial need and who have been actively involved within leadership organizations in COHS.

OKLAHOMA COUNTY HOME AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Sophomore, junior or senior, minimum GPA of 3.0, Oklahoma resident.

OKLAHOMA HOME AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION, INC
Qualifications: Full-time student, sophomore level or above. Recipient shall be a child, grandchild, or niece/nephew of a current member of the OHCE, Inc. First preference for students in the FACSED option.

Qualifications: Junior or senior; good academic standing; active in College of Human Sciences and University student organizations; minimum GPA 3.0.

PLUCKNETT - KNOLAND JAMES AND CAROLYN RUTH PLUCKNETT SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Determined by the College of Human Sciences.

Qualifications:  Dietetics student who is working his/her way through college and making average grades. Should be active in student activities, volunteering, employed part-time and in need of financial assistance.

Qualifications: Full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection alternates between Interior Design and HRAD students.

Qualifications: Determined by the College of Human Sciences.

Qualifications: Sophomore; good academic standing; active in College of Human Sciences and University student organizations; minimum 3.0 GPA.

THAYER - ROLLIN H. AND RUTH M. THAYER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Determined by the College of Human Sciences.

WAGNER – FRED AND CAROLYN LIPE WAGNER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time student with a 3.2 GPA, merit and financial need. First preference for students who graduated high school in Bristow, OK. If no students are identified, then second preference for students who graduated high school in the State of Oklahoma.

Undergraduate Design, Housing and Merchandising Scholarships

AMERICAN APPAREL EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Must be a DHM ADP student who has completed Draping & Flat Pattern; C or better in major courses; preference for students showing leadership in student organizations. Students must have a high likelihood of going into the apparel design/production industry.

BELLMON – SHIRLEY BELLMON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time student in DHM with interest in a career as apparel designer, manufacturer or merchandiser and must have graduated from a high school in Noble County, Oklahoma. Preference for students who are graduates of Billings, Oklahoma high school.

BRINKERHOFF - REGINA BRINKERHOFF SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Junior or senior; 3.0 minimum GPA; Apparel Design & Production or Merchandising options; active in MADA; participation in College of Human Sciences and University activities considered.

GREENWOOD - KATHRYN GREENWOOD ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP 
Qualifications: Undergraduate student in DHM pursuing a major in Merchandising or in Apparel Design and Production or graduate student pursuing an emphasis in Merchandising or Apparel Design and Production. Preference for student who does not qualify for need-based aid.

HERNDON – MARY SUE HERNDON SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time student in human sciences with preference for students in DHM.

INTERNATIONAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION – OKLAHOMA CITY CHAPTER
Qualifications: Minimum 3.0 GPA; classification of junior or senior; undergraduates and graduates eligible; IFMA member.

INTERNATIONAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION – TULSA CHAPTER
Qualifications: Minimum 2.5 GPA; undergrad seeking a degree in Interior Design with an option in Facilities Management; OSU IFMA Member; Application deadline Feb. 26 at 5:00pm. LAUFFENBURGER - KAREN MARIE LAUFFENBURGER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Sophomore student pursuing a major in Interior Design; financial need and strong desire to achieve a career in interior design shall be prime criteria for selection with academic achievement a less important consideration. A written essay is required.

MARQUEZ FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time JR or SR in Merchandising (apparel). First preference for students with documented financial need, second preference for students with a 3.0 GPA. The scholarship may be renewed with maintenance of the selection criteria. 

MEADOR - SARA MEADOR SCHOLARSHIP 
Qualifications: Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in DHM; high academic standing; preference to person working in historic costume; prefer a single parent and non-Pan-Hellenic. 

NEWMAN - JEAN BULLEN NEWMAN INTERNSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Student meets DHM requirements for participation in an internship; ability to represent OSU and College of Human Sciences in a professional capacity; overall graduation/retention GPA of 3.0; a letter/memo on letterhead from sponsoring company must be attached to scholarship application verifying student's acceptance and confirming high-quality internship.

PASCHALL - MILTON PASCHALL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Student pursuing the interior design option; junior or senior; 3.0 minimum major GPA; one semester in residence at OSU completed; demonstrated interest in interior design activities; indication of professional potential and attitude of sincere interest and enthusiasm.

STEEN – BECKY STEEN DHM ENDOWED SCHOLARS FUND
Qualifications:  Full-time undergraduate in DHM conducting an approved internship; preference for junior or senior; evidence of financial need may be considered during the selection process.

SUGG – SUZANNE POHLEMANN SUGG ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time undergraduate in DHM with financial need and GPA greater than 2.5. First preference for freshman student from Caddo County high school. Award may be renewed as long as the recipient maintains the selection criteria.

WOODEN NICKEL SCHOLARSHIPS – JIM & MADELINE RUFFIN SCHOLARSHIP AND MAE COHLMIA SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time sophomore, junior or senior apparel merchandising student with first preference for financial need and second for academic performance.

Undergraduate Hotel and Restaurant Administration Scholarships

AMERICAN HOTEL & LODGING EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Funds are allocated by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation.  Qualifications: Recipients must be enrolled full-time, minimum of twelve hours in the fall and spring semesters (students graduating in December can be nominated through a special process). Recipients must have completed their sophomore year with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and be a U. S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship can be received in subsequent years. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

ANDERSON – JIM ANDERSON DISTINGUISHED HOSPITALITY SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Enrolled at Oklahoma State University either full-time or part-time as an undergraduate or graduate student with a declared major in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Recipient must be currently working, or must have worked previously, in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration's teaching laboratories. Must have documented financial need. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

ATHERTON – TOM & STEPHANIE ATHERTON SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: The recipient(s) must be enrolled as a full-time student in the College of Human Sciences at Oklahoma State University and must be pursuing a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Only those students seeking either a hotel or restaurant experience will be considered for an award. The recipient(s) must be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.5 grade point average for scholarship recipients and a minimum 2.0 grade point average for internship scholarship recipients. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need. Consideration will be given to involvement in leadership activities and participation in professional organizations, etc. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

BOKORNEY - BAKER BOKORNEY SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipient must be enrolled full-time (minimum of twelve hours) in the fall and spring semesters in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. This scholarship is awarded to the executive Chair of Hospitality Days. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

BREWER - RICHARD J. BREWER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipients must be enrolled full-time (minimum of twelve hours) in the fall and spring semesters in Hotel and Restaurant Administration with a minimum overall GPA of 2.50. The award is made to a junior or senior who demonstrates a dedication to the hotel and restaurant industry; has a financial need; and is working full or part-time in a hotel, motel, restaurant or related industry to help cover the cost of his/her education. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

CARRAGHER – MICHAEL CARRAGHER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time student at Oklahoma State University majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Selection preference shall be given to students who are residents of the state of Illinois and students with financial need. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

DISTINGUISHED CHEF SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Work experience and completion of application form and essay for each Chef Event during a semester. Awards are made in the fall and spring based on the work experience, application and essay from the previous semester. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

DUTY - CHARLIE DUTY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. The recipient must have graduated from a high school located in the Dallas metroplex area and must be classified as a sophomore student, with a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship shall be renewable with maintenance of the selection criteria. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

FASSLER – JOSEPH K. FASSLER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipients will be selected by the HRAD Student Recognition Committee.

HOTEL & RESTAURANT ADMINISTRATION SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Determined by the HRAD Scholarship Selection Committee.

JOHNSON - ANDY JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time (minimum of twelve hours) freshman student in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Recipient may retain the scholarship for up to four years, provided he/she maintains a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and a minimum 2.5 GPA in his/her major field of study. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

JORNS – VICTOR AND NANCY JORNS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration (may be awarded to a student who is not enrolled full-time during the semester prior to their graduation if they need less than a full-time course enrollment that semester to meet graduation requirements. Priority will be given to students with financial need. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

JORNS INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY STUDIES ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time HRAD student, US citizen or permanent resident, with career interests in lodging/conference center/resort segment of the hospitality industry. Must have worked 480 hours in hospitality industry and must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Awarded to students who are studying outside the USA as part of an educational experience.

KRUITHOF-ROSS KRUITHOF ENDOWED MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time junior or senior at Oklahoma State University majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Administration and must be an active member of a hotel and restaurant management club/organization. Preference shall be given to those students with a not greater than 3.2 GPA.

LEONARD - JEAN ARMANTROUT LEONARD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipients must be enrolled full-time (minimum of twelve hours) in the fall and spring semesters in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. First preference given to applicants who are freshmen. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

MACARTHUR - BRIAN MACARTHUR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP:
Qualifications: Full-time undergraduate student in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration. Minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship may be awarded to a freshman, sophomore or transfer student and may be renewed for up to three years of undergraduate study, provided the recipient continues to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

MCKENZIE - BRIE MCKENZIE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipients must be enrolled full-time (minimum of twelve hours) in the fall and spring semesters in Hotel and Restaurant Administration with a minimum overall GPA of 3.00. First preference will be given to an Oklahoma resident. Preference shall also be given to a student who is employed while attending school. The recipient must demonstrate financial need. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

OKLAHOMA RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
Funds are allocated by the Oklahoma Restaurant Association.
Qualifications: Recipients must be enrolled full-time (minimum of twelve hours) in the fall and spring semesters in Hotel and Restaurant Administration concentrating on courses that will lead to an emphasis in restaurant management. The recipient must demonstrate a commitment to a career in restaurant management and have outstanding abilities that are adaptable to the industry. An interview with member of the ORA is required as part of the evaluation process. The Oklahoma Restaurant Association Education Committee awards the scholarships.

RYAN - BILL AND RITA RYAN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Recipients will be those students who have been named as the outstanding undergraduate student(s) by the faculty in the OSU School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration using a process determined by the Director of the School. In addition, Recipients must be graduating, as confirmed by the university, in the semester that they receive the scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded at the end of both the fall and spring semesters.

STEWART – KIMBERLY STEWART HOTEL AND RESTAURANT ADMINISTRATION SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time undergraduate student in Hotel and Restaurant Administration.

STRATTON - BETTYE STRATTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Must be full-time student (minimum of twelve hours) in Hotel and Restaurant Administration; junior or senior with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. Recipient must be working in some function of the hospitality industry; preference will be given to a student working in the Student Union. Financial need is a requirement. The HRAD Student Recognition Committee awards the scholarship.

STRUTHERS – JANE HARRISON STRUTHERS DISTINGUISHED CHEF SERIES ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  HRAD student that has provided significant contributions and a leadership role in the Distinguished Chef Series.

WINE FORUM OF OKLAHOMA SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Must have participated in the Wine Forum of Oklahoma events. A separate application is required.

WINSLOW – TOM & GAY WINSLOW SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time undergraduate in HRAD with documented financial need.

Undergraduate Human Development and Family Science Scholarships

BEGLEY – BRYAN AND JESSICA BEGLEY SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: JR or SR in HDFS in early childhood education or focusing on troubled children; financial need and strong academic credentials; leadership activities will be considered. May be renewed.

DANEL FAMILY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time student majoring in HDFS with preference given to student from southeastern Oklahoma. Financial need is a factor.

GAFFNEY – BETTYE GAFFNEY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Full-time HDFS student in good academic standing with financial need and involved in college leadership activities.

GRIFFIN - D.A. (PUG) AND MARY GRIFFIN DAUGHTERS SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Overall GPA of 2.5 or higher through five semesters of study; junior standing or beyond; need and leadership based.

HIRSCHLEIN – DR. BEULAH HIRSCHLEIN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  HDFS student with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

HOFFER - DR. JOSEPHINE HOFFER SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Human Development and Family Science graduating senior in ECE option; success in ECE student teaching experience a strong consideration; student's career goal focuses on teaching and student exhibits professionalism, leadership potential, and maturity. 

HOWLAND - LUCY E. HOWLAND SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Student pursuing an Early Childhood Education option; sophomore, junior, senior, or first-year master's students eligible; academic standing most important and financial need may be considered.

JENKINS – DAVID AND SHIRLEY JENKINS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: JR or SR or GRAD student in HDFS with interest in working with ECE and/or troubled children or families. Must have documented financial need and strong academic credentials.  Evidence of leadership activities in the college, department, and campus will be considered.

JENNINGS – RICHARD & ISSY JENNINGS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Full-time undergraduate student in Early Childhood Education. The scholarship may be renewed up to 4 years, subject to the recipient maintaining the selection criteria. 

KEELER-BATTLES – LORENE WULZ KEELER-BATTLES ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: Student pursuing a degree in HDFS - gerontology; junior or senior; 3.0 minimum GPA; demonstrated professional potential in gerontology.

ROULET – DOREEN & PAUL ROULET ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications:  Must be enrolled as a full-time student in COHS, must be pursuing a degree in child and family services, must be a sophomore, junior, senior or 1st year masters student; may receive for multiple years with first consideration given to demonstrated academic achievement and financial need considered second.

SWANSON - FRANCES PEUGNET SWANSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: OSU-Stillwater or OSU-Tulsa undergraduate; minimum 3.0 GPA; junior or senior undergraduate student or a graduate student pursuing a degree in early childhood education and/or special education as related to early childhood education. Preference to be given to a student with a learning disability. 

SASSER – VIRGINIA SASSER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Qualifications: The Virginia Sasser Endowed Scholarship is a one-year scholarship granted to full-time freshman students in the College of Human Sciences. Qualifications: Recipient(s) must be full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) students enrolled in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University; first preference for NW Oklahoma (other Oklahoma residents also considered); must have completed two semesters at OSU with plans to attend at least two additional semesters. Must be eligible for graduation within the next two years. Demonstrated improvement in GPA and in top one-fourth of students in major area of study. Improvement in GPA, leadership ability, and communication skills will be given equal consideration in selection of the scholarship recipient.

Qualifications:  MS or PhD student; enrolled full-time; studying in the Department of Nutritional Sciences.  The scholarship provides funds for short-term projects that provide community experiences for graduate students (including dietetic interns); funded studies should focus on nutrition education and health issues in aging.  Collaboration with the extension specialist in aging and the faculty/ students in the Gerontology Institute is strongly encouraged.  A proposal that outlines the anticipated project with timelines and estimated costs should be submitted to the department head.

WINTERFELDT – WINTERFELDT GRADUATE FUND FOR RESEARCH
