Welcome to the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration
Our school is known as a program of distinction for 75 years. Students are prepared for careers in hospitality through meaningful teaching, quality laboratory practices, and supervised industry work experiences and internships. Learning is "hands on" and provides a bridge between the classroom and professional practice in the field.

Richard “Dick” Autry
AutryThe School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration (HRAD) recently lost one of its most well-known graduates and former adjunct faculty, Richard “Dick” Autry, ‘60. Autry was born and resided most of his life in Enid, Okla., where he died May 1, 2015.

After graduating from Oklahoma State University, Dick’s first position was with Morrison’s Cafeteria in Mobile, Ala., opening multiple Morrison’s across the southeastern United States. He received a master’s degree in industrial management in 1964 from Clemson in South Carolina. Soon after completing his master’s degree, Autry returned to Enid where his popular Richill’s Cafeteria served the community for 22 years.
HRAD welcomes Executive Chef Tiffany Poe
tiffany poeThe School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration in the College of Human Sciences at Oklahoma State University is pleased to announce Tiffany Poe as the Executive Chef of Taylor’s Dining Room.

Chef Poe has been sharing her passion for food and culinary education for more than a decade. She is a certified executive chef and an honors graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N. Y. and Oklahoma State University. Taylor’s Dining Room.
HRAD students lobby in D.C.
The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) Legislative Action Summit is held annually in Washington D.C.  in April to strengthen the voice of the lodging industry to key policymakers on Capitol Hill. The College of Human Sciences School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration (HRAD) was represented at the Legislative Action Summit this year by students Bayli Jones, Maci Slater and Executive in Residence Dar Yasseri.
