Hospitality Days is a long-standing tradition for Oklahoma State University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. “Mr. Mac,” John McAllister, was a director of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management from 1955 to 1971. In 1956, Mr. Mac first initiated Hospitality Days. The original mission of Hospitality Days was to bring alumni back to Stillwater to share their experiences with students and to help build relationships between students and industry leaders. Decades later, the focus has shifted, but the purpose remains the same. Recruiters from local, national, and international companies search for their next generation of managers and executives among over two hundred students attending this conference. In addition, the students continue to represent the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at OSU as hospitality professionals.
