Please join us at Planet Orange for a taste of the world as we bring you flavors and fun at the new quick service restaurant concept lab in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Planet Orange is not your typical restaurant. It provides students with a real-world experience as they learn the operations of a quick service restaurant. More than 120 students rotate weekly through our operation learning about concepts and strategies all while creating a great dining experience for our customers. Our new location and facilities afford exceptional student learning opportunities and challenges, preparing students for management positions after graduation and directly benefiting from your visit. This semester as Planet Orange opened and introduced a menu with limited items, we look forward to you visiting often. Fresh menu items will be rotated in as our students learn their way around the new kitchen and the new menu. Our hope is that you’ll be patient and understanding as we learn and grow!
