For 80 years, The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (formerly the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration) has been at the forefront of hospitality education in America. As one of the oldest and most accomplished hospitality programs in the country, we’re committed to the responsibility of educating future hospitality leaders.

Our students are prepared in a variety of ways for responsible positions by learning skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and communication techniques with real-world experiences. Our business-focused curriculum provides students with a critical foundation in all areas of global hospitality and tourism. Students are required to have 480 hours of work experience in the hospitality industry prior to 320 hours of internship (hands-on) training in the hospitality industry as a requirement for graduation.
