DHM students win international e-poster competition

A team of Design, Housing and Merchandising students in the Oklahoma State University College of Human Sciences recently placed first in an ePoster competition at the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) World Work Place in Houston, Texas. The team of students developed and produced a video documenting their application of empathic design as they explored the integration of the aging population, interior design and the aging process.

“Empathic design is powerful as it informs intellectual and emotional aspects of learning,” College of Human Sciences Dean Stephan Wilson said.

Team members are Shelby Adams, Emily Murtha, Erin Walker, Savannah Bush, Alyssa Martin.
