College of Human Sciences celebrates Homecoming 2017

Oklahoma State University’s Homecoming 2017 will “Herald Your Fame” and the College of Human Sciences heartily agrees as all loyal alums are invited to celebrate on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017.

Human Sciences alumni from 1967 and 1992 will have a chance to reconnect with friends during ‘Coffee, Conversation and Catching Up’ at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13 in the Human Sciences’ Great Hall. Graduates will receive 25 and 50 year Alumni Pins during this time and Pistol Pete will join the group for pictures.


Distinguished alumni who will be recognized during Friday’s event are Sherre Davidson, ‘73 M.S., FRCD;The College of Human Sciences will host alumni and friends at the annual Homecoming Celebration Luncheon Friday, Oct. 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Jorns Hall located in the north wing of the Human Sciences building. In addition to recognizing all alums present, the College will honor Distinguished Alumni and Rising Stars.

Dr. Linda Good, ‘74 M.S., ‘86 Ph.D., DHM; Dr. Swarna Mandali ‘01 Ph.D., NSCI and Nick Starns, ‘02 B.S., HRAD.

Rising Stars, who are within 10 years of their graduation, are Dr. Afework Mulugeta Bezabih, ‘09 Ph.D., NSCI and Brittani Parker ’11 B.S., HDFS.
