EDUCATOR SPOTLIGHT: Robyn Jones
Robyn Jones began her career as the Family and Consumer Sciences/4-H Youth Development OSU Extension Educator in June 2008. She has lived in Hughes County for 25 years and loves working with the people in her home county. Her love of cooking led her to a career in Family and Consumer Sciences. She graduated from East Central University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences.
Robyn is a member of the Health, Family Breakdown, & Risky Behaviors issue teams. She teaches many programs throughout the county including adult canning workshops, nutrition classes, arthritis exercise, parenting classes, Co-Parenting for parents going through divorce with minor children as well as many other topics.
She enjoys working with the 4-H clubs in her county teaching them canning, yoga, bullying prevention, & healthy living skills. Robyn also works closely with the Oklahoma Home and Community Education clubs in her county which are very active in the community with volunteering, providing scholarships, and projects.
