Important Dates to Remember

July 1 Application Process Opens
Students who have completed their junior year in high school can begin applying for the summer or fall 2017 semesters.
October 1 FAFSA Filing Opens
All incoming students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after Oct. 1 for the most financial aid consideration.
November 1 PETE  Project Application Available
Students can complete the P★E★T★E  Project application to be considered for Human Sciences living-learning community. Students must also complete the OSU housing application once available. (Open to incoming freshmen only.) 
November 1 Early Opportunity Scholarship Deadline
Apply by Nov. 1 to receive early scholarship and financial aid notification and to compete for the highest level academic college awards.
December 1 Admitted Student Housing Application Opens
Admitted students can complete their housing application to secure a place in line to pick their room.
February 1 New Student Orientation (NSO) & Enrollment Registration Opens
Admitted students can sign up for an NSO session, which will take place during the summer. During NSO, you will enroll in classes, meet other new students and learn about campus resources. NSO is mandatory for new students.
February 1 Priority Scholarship Deadline
You must submit all application materials (including essays) by Feb. 1 for full scholarship consideration.
February 15 P★E★T★E  Project Application Priority DeadlineStudents who have submitted an application by Feb. 15 will be given priority consideration.
April 15

Family and Consumer Sciences Education Academy Application Due

Attend this summer program hosted on campus by CoHS faculty to further develop your leadership skills and learn more about OSU. (Open to high school juniors only.)
July 1 Final Scholarship Deadline
Students must submit their most up-to-date test scores and transcripts for final scholarship consideration.
