Kerry D. Morgan, Ph.D., CHES is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Science at Sacred Heart University. Dr. Morgan is the coordinator for the public health concentration within the Health Science program. She teaches a variety of courses, including Community and Public Health, Epidemiology, and Intro to Healthcare and Health Professions. Dr. Morgan’s professional interests include prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, empowerment approaches to inspire positive health behavior change, school wellness initiatives (particularly early childhood and elementary), and service learning. She earned her Ph.D. in Health, Leisure and Human Performance from Oklahoma State University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University.
