REAL CommUNIty: A UNIfied UNIversity for U 'N I

The REAL (Relationships, Engagement, Advocacy, and Learning) CommUNIty is a student-led organization with an outreach focus. Our members include adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and OSU students, staff, and faculty. We are a community that views disability as a natural part of human diversity and we believe everyone benefits from inclusion.

We are a community that believes everyone benefits from inclusion. We like to hang out, learn, and have fun together. We are member-driven; as such, the opportunities offered each semester reflect the interests and availability of the current membership and vary from year to year.  Current opportunities to get involved include Next Chapter Book Club® (http://nextchapterbookclub.org/), Jot It Down Writing Club, and Let’s Take a Walk. Each club meets once a week and includes a time to eat lunch together.
