OSU Office of Admissions 
Transfer Credit Guides - If you are a transfer student, the guides will provide course equivalency information for some OSU courses. The Admissions Office will also do an official transcript evaluation when you are admitted.

Patricia Kain Knaub Center for Student Success - the home of your first NSCI academic adviser. The Center's staff has excellent procedures for getting you started at OSU, advising, and career services. The Center is located at 101 HSCI.

NSCI Departmental Advisers -When you have completed approximately 60 hours, you will be transferred to a faculty adviser in the NSCI Department and will receive an email about this assignment from the department.
STAR System – This website is used to set up advising appointments, for communication, and to store academic forms.

Instructions for self-registration in D2L Communities:  Log into D2L and find “Self-Registration” at the top of the screen. Scroll through the list and find the name of the community. Click on the name of the community in blue and then click the appropriate commands on the next three screens until you are self-registered. Once you are self-registered, the Community will appear on your home page.  Joining a community is not the same enrolling in a class. That needs to be done through SIS. Communities are free resources.
STW NSCI 3440_Community  - NSCI 3440 Preprofessional Experience in NSCI is a required course which is unlike any other course that you will take as you will be job-shadowing, working, or volunteering for at least 40 hours. The Community includes the syllabus and course instructions so that you can begin to learn about the requirements long before you enroll.  Carol Beier is the administrator.
STW NSCI-Didactic Program in Dietetics – This community includes resources for dietetics students. These resources include information related to applying for dietetic internships, the dietetics profession, and the Quantity Food Production Practicum course, NSCI 4331. Carol Beier is the administrator.
STW Dietetic Internship – This community is only for current Dietetic Interns.

HSCI Academic Programs and Services 


Nutritional Sciences Club  - NSCI Club is for all undergraduates in Nutritional Sciences who want to develop professional and social competencies and establish networks, while providing services to the department, community, and campus. Any student with an interest in nutrition, foods, and health is welcome to join. The club meets on the first Thursday of the month during the school year at 5 p.m. Monthly fliers publicize the speaker and the place. Dr. Gena Wollenberg is the Club Advisor.
